2020 is a year when I got married and got my first online business sold. I have built it in nearly 4 years. During the last months before I flipped it, the site easily got over 1 million sessions per month with major traffic from the US. In retrospect, I spent so much effort on this website with me as the only solopreneur that did all things from a to z till I met my wife, who helped me with some manual time-consuming aspects of the website. But there were tons of works to be done and I had to get them solved one by one.
I haven’t had any ideas about selling it until someone approached me and gave me an offer.
The process from first contacting to complete is a very hard process which took me more than 3 months to finalize it mainly because I’m so careful with every detail. But somehow, I got it done. With all the funds in hand, I can think about a lot of great things I can set my mind to.
But there’s so much to think, and so much I need to plan to do. Life’s great when you enjoy the process, not the results. The results are just short-coming, while the process will stay. It will give you the experiences and skills to get the first, second, and so on results.
It’s also been one and a half years since I left my full-time job and work full-time on my own. I’ve been so free to do all the things I want to; so haven’t thought about getting back to work yet.
I still have some other online businesses now, and they will consume most of my time before I can think about anything else. After all, besides making money, you have to get yourself occupied, have some secure things you can count on, and enjoy life.
